Wall of Appreciation
Supporting and honoring our history, culture, and community.
Okagesama means to gratefully live in the shadow of others. It is an expression of great humility and gratitude. And it is this expression that was the inspiration behind a project to show our appreciation for the Sacramento Betsuin and the countless people who have helped to make it the vibrant temple that it is today.
The Legacy Endowment Board contracted with Ndd Creative, to create the Wall of Appreciation which is displayed in the hallway across our beautiful garden. It is an elegant display showcasing the names of donors that have supported the temple.
The Sacramento Betsuin has been an important part of many people’s lives. Whether you are a member of the temple, or a member of the community, this temple has provided services and programs for everyone to enjoy. It is more than just a place to share the Dharma. It is a place of history, culture, community and family.
Have a car you want to donate?
Vehicle Donation Program
If you have a car (or even a clunker!) that you would rather donate than sell, consider donating your car to the Buddhist Church of Sacramento. Pick up and paper work is handled through Harold’s Car Donation.
