Overview

Scouting Programs

The Buddhist Church of Sacramento offers a place for our scouting programs to meet and conduct various troop activities including formal scouting programs such as Boy Scout Court of Honor, Girl Scout Bridging, and Cub Scout Arrow of Light. Our scouting program is not associated with religious aspects of our temple and we welcome all school-age children interested in being part of a large community of scouts. Our scouting program is successful thanks to many parents who volunteer their time and skills to serve as adult leaders.

Cub Scouts Pack 50
Scouting Program sponsored by the temple

Pack 50 is the Cub Scouts program sponsored by the Buddhist Church of Sacramento. As an organization, we have been in existence since 1972 and are consistently recognized as one of the most successful Packs in the district. A majority of our Cub Scouts progress on to Boy Scouts and a high percentage of our Scouts progress through the ranks and achieve their Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in Scouting. Our Pack is part of the Capital City District of the Golden Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
