It’s always heartwarming to see so many families come together during the holidays — reconnecting with friends, sharing memories, and celebrating the New Year as a community. We invite you and your family to join us for a New Year’s Eve Dinner immediately following the 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve Joya-e Service on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Seating will begin immediately after the Joya-e Service at approximately 6:45 p.m.
Let’s close out the year and welcome 2026 together with a sake toast and a delicious New Year’s Eve dinner prepared by Marty Sakata, Gordon Nitta, and the Sunday Courtyard Crew.
Special pricing is available for current, dues-paying temple members as a thank you for your support. If you are not a current temple member, please consider joining.
Dinner Pricing
Temple Members: $45 per adult
Non-Members: $55 per adult
Complimentary pasta dinner for children 12 and under

Prime Rib Dinner
Green salad with roll, smoked prime rib, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes and rice, au jus and gravy, and dessert.
Salmon Dinner
Green salad with roll, salmon, seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes and rice, and dessert.
Vegetarian Dinner
Green salad with roll, tagliatelle pasta with assorted mushroom cream sauce, roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and dessert.
(Note: entrée is not vegan.)
Kid’s Pasta Dinner
Complimentary pasta for children 12 and under.
Rigatoni with meat sauce, salad with roll, and dessert.
Takeout Options
Are you preparing and cooking for Oshogatsu? Or would you love to order Prime Rib dinners but cannot stay? No worries — takeout dinners are available for the Prime Rib Dinner only.
Please select one of the following pick-up windows:
5 p.m. — recommended for those not attending the Joya-e Service
6:45 p.m. — recommended for those attending the Joya-e Service
When you place your order, please designate a pick-up time slot.
Purchase Tickets
You may purchase your tickets online before December 15.
If you prefer to pay with a check or cash, please contact the office at 916-446-0121 or stop by during office hours to place your order and make payment.
Request Group Seating
To be seated with other families and/or friends, you may request group seating and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please submit your request after all parties have purchased their tickets. Use the Seating Request Form to submit your request. All requests must be submitted by December 26.
Note: Please no outside alcoholic beverages.
Beer, wine, soft drinks, tea, coffee, hot cocoa and water will be available for dine-in.
