Two Days and One Suitcase

Two Days and One Suitcase will be presented at the Buddhist Church of Sacramento on May 16, 2026 at 1:00pm. This presentation by the Author, Helen Hannan Parra, draws parallels to current issues of racism and immigration, and gives insight to a particular time in U.S. history, the incarceration of Japanese Americans. Ms. Parra is on a mission to tell everyone about the unjust imprisonment and in a way that children can understand and learn from.

The Sacramento Adult Buddhist Association is sponsoring this event as supported/Co-Sponsored by the Sacramento Girls Scout Troop 569, BSA Troop 50B, BSA Troop 50G, Boy Scout Troop 250, and the Dharma School.
