Join us for an evening that blends good food, great company, and Dana. The Adult Buddhist Association (ABA) invites Members, Families and Friends of the Sacramento Buddhist Church to the Pupu Party Benefit Fundraiser for the Betsuin Scholarship Education Fund on Friday, June 19th at House Kitchen and Bar.

This is Dana in action — generous, joyful, and shared. Swap your weeknight routine for an upbeat, casual cocktail social featuring House Kitchen’s signature pupus and specialty drinks. Mingle with fellow Sangha members, enjoy the warmth of community, and experience firsthand how the spirit of giving brings us together. Island-casual attire encouraged, but the only requirement is your smile.

Hosted by the ABA, the night will honor those who embody Dana through learning, service, and generosity:
2026 Betsuin Educational Award recipients – youth who pursue knowledge guided by Buddhist values
2026 ABA Community Service Award recipients – young people whose compassion uplifts our wider community
Donors of the Betsuin Scholarship Education Fund – Sangha members whose Dana sustains opportunity year after year
Your Participation is Dana at Work
100% of proceeds from the Pupu Party Benefit go directly to the Betsuin Scholarship Education Fund. This endowment fund transforms Dana today into lasting benefit, funding three programs each year for all Church Member Family Youth:
· ABA Community Service Awards for youth making a difference
· Betsuin Educational Awards supporting their academic journeys
· Betsuin 529 College Savings Program helping our youth begin college and vocational training with confidence

Admission to the Pupu Party is $100 per Guest. There are also three Event Sponsorship Levels for those interested and able to make a larger contribution in support of our youth:
Event Sponsorship Levels
$1,000 - Gold Sponsorship Level (includes four complimentary Guest Tickets)
$500 - Silver Sponsorship Level (includes two complimentary Guest Tickets)
$250 - Bronze Sponsorship Level (includes one complimentary Guest Ticket)
